Pinch makes videos and photos smaller. It does the work on your device, it never uploads your files anywhere, and it never changes or deletes the original.
These terms are the agreement between you and us about how the app may be used. If you subscribe, section 5 is the part to read.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using Pinch you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, do not use the app and delete it from your device.
Pinch is published by Muhammet Can Kilic (“we”, “us”). These terms sit alongside the Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement, and alongside Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement, which applies to the extent these terms do not address a matter it covers. Apple is not a party to this agreement but is a third-party beneficiary of it and may enforce it against you.
2. What Pinch does
You choose a video or a photo. Pinch re-encodes it at a smaller size and gives you the result, which you can save to your photo library or share. Compression happens entirely on your device using the media frameworks built into iOS.
Three commitments are built into how the app works:
- Your original is never modified or deleted. Pinch reads it and writes a new file somewhere else. There is no “replace original” mode and no code path in the app that deletes a file you selected.
- Nothing is uploaded. Your files are not sent to us or to anyone else. There is no server, no account and no cloud processing.
- A result is checked before it is offered to you. Every output is opened, measured and decoded before the app reports success. If it is not meaningfully smaller, or does not come out intact, it is discarded and you are told.
3. What Pinch does not do
- It is not a backup. Compressed results are kept only until you save or share them; the app clears unsaved results when it next launches, and it says so on screen. Save what you want to keep.
- It cannot make every file smaller. Some files are already about as compact as they can be. When that happens Pinch tells you plainly rather than handing back a near-identical copy.
- Compression loses detail. That is what compression is. The result is a new, smaller file — not a replacement for your original, and not suitable where an unaltered file is required.
4. The free allowance
Without a subscription you may compress up to a fixed amount of input per calendar day, shown in the app and measured against the size of the files you select. A single file larger than that daily amount cannot be processed on the free tier at all, because no amount of waiting would make it fit.
The allowance is counted on your device and resets at local midnight. It resets only when the calendar moves forward past the latest day the app has already seen, so moving your device's clock backwards will not restore it, and moving it forwards will suspend the reset until the real date catches up.
We may change the size of the free allowance in a future version of the app.
5. Subscriptions and one-time purchase
Pinch PRO removes the daily allowance, removes the per-file size limit, and lets you queue several files at once. It is offered as an auto-renewing subscription on a weekly, monthly or yearly term, and as a single non-renewing lifetime purchase. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund the period you are in; PRO remains active until that period ends.
- The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for the version of PRO offered at the time of purchase. It does not renew.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms; we cannot issue them. Requests can be made at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use Pinch only with files you own or are entitled to process, and only in ways that are lawful where you are. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to defeat the limits of the free tier, and not to use the app to infringe anyone's rights.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app or any of its features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, it will apply from your next renewal rather than during a period you have already paid for.
We may amend these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes will be surfaced in the app.
8. No warranty
Pinch is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular file will be compressed successfully or to any particular size. Nothing here excludes rights you have under consumer law in your country that cannot be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data. The app does not modify or delete your originals, and you remain responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you care about. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the app. You may end them at any time by deleting Pinch from your device. We may end them if you breach section 6.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Bu koşullar, uygulamanın nasıl kullanılabileceğine dair sizinle bizim aramızdaki sözleşmedir. Abone olacaksanız okunması gereken bölüm 5'tir.
1. Sözleşme
Pinch'i indirerek, kurarak veya kullanarak bu Kullanım Koşulları'nı kabul etmiş olursunuz. Kabul etmiyorsanız uygulamayı kullanmayın ve cihazınızdan silin.
Pinch, Muhammet Can Kılıç (“biz”) tarafından yayımlanmaktadır. Bu koşullar, sözleşmenin bir parçası olan Gizlilik Politikası ile birlikte ve bu koşulların düzenlemediği konularda Apple'ın Standart Son Kullanıcı Lisans Sözleşmesi ile birlikte geçerlidir. Apple bu sözleşmenin tarafı değildir ancak üçüncü taraf lehtarıdır ve sözleşmeyi size karşı uygulayabilir.
2. Pinch ne yapar
Bir video veya fotoğraf seçersiniz. Pinch onu daha küçük boyutta yeniden kodlar ve sonucu size verir; bu sonucu fotoğraf kitaplığınıza kaydedebilir veya paylaşabilirsiniz. Sıkıştırma tamamen cihazınızda, iOS'un kendi medya altyapısıyla yapılır.
Uygulamanın çalışma biçimine gömülü üç taahhüt vardır:
- Orijinaliniz asla değiştirilmez veya silinmez. Pinch onu okur ve başka bir yere yeni bir dosya yazar. “Orijinalin üzerine yaz” modu yoktur ve uygulamada seçtiğiniz bir dosyayı silen hiçbir kod yolu bulunmaz.
- Hiçbir şey yüklenmez. Dosyalarınız bize veya başka birine gönderilmez. Sunucu, hesap ve bulut işleme yoktur.
- Sonuç, size sunulmadan önce denetlenir. Her çıktı; başarı bildirilmeden önce açılır, ölçülür ve çözümlenir. Anlamlı ölçüde küçülmemişse veya sağlam çıkmamışsa atılır ve size söylenir.
3. Pinch ne yapmaz
- Yedekleme değildir. Sıkıştırılmış sonuçlar yalnızca siz kaydedene veya paylaşana kadar tutulur; uygulama bir sonraki açılışta kaydedilmemiş sonuçları temizler ve bunu ekranda belirtir. Saklamak istediğinizi kaydedin.
- Her dosyayı küçültemez. Bazı dosyalar zaten olabildiğince sıkıştırılmıştır. Böyle bir durumda Pinch, neredeyse aynı bir kopya vermek yerine durumu açıkça söyler.
- Sıkıştırma detay kaybettirir. Sıkıştırmanın tanımı budur. Sonuç yeni ve daha küçük bir dosyadır; orijinalinizin yerine geçmez ve değiştirilmemiş dosya gerektiren durumlar için uygun değildir.
4. Ücretsiz kota
Abonelik olmadan, takvim günü başına sabit bir miktara kadar girdi sıkıştırabilirsiniz; bu miktar uygulamada gösterilir ve seçtiğiniz dosyaların boyutuna göre düşülür. Günlük miktardan büyük tek bir dosya ücretsiz katmanda hiç işlenemez, çünkü beklemek onu sığdırmaz.
Kota cihazınızda sayılır ve yerel gece yarısı yenilenir. Yalnızca takvim, uygulamanın gördüğü en ileri günü geçtiğinde yenilenir; dolayısıyla cihaz saatini geri almak kotayı geri getirmez, ileri almak ise gerçek tarih yetişene kadar yenilenmeyi durdurur.
Ücretsiz kotanın büyüklüğünü ileriki bir sürümde değiştirebiliriz.
5. Abonelikler ve tek seferlik satın alma
Pinch PRO; günlük kotayı kaldırır, dosya başına boyut sınırını kaldırır ve birden fazla dosyayı sıraya almanıza izin verir. Haftalık, aylık veya yıllık otomatik yenilenen abonelik olarak ve yenilenmeyen tek seferlik ömür boyu satın alma olarak sunulur. Güncel fiyatlar, satın almadan önce uygulamada yerel para biriminizde gösterilir.
- Ödeme, satın alma onayında Apple Hesabınızdan tahsil edilir.
- Abonelik, mevcut dönemin bitiminden en az 24 saat önce iptal edilmedikçe otomatik yenilenir. Yenileme ücreti, dönem bitiminden önceki 24 saat içinde tahsil edilir.
- Aboneliği istediğiniz zaman Apple Hesap ayarlarınızdan yönetebilir veya iptal edebilirsiniz. Uygulamayı silmek aboneliği iptal etmez.
- İptal, gelecekteki yenilemeleri durdurur. İçinde bulunduğunuz dönemi iade etmez; PRO o dönem bitene kadar açık kalır.
- Ömür boyu satın alma, satın alma anında sunulan PRO sürümü için tek seferlik bir ödemedir. Yenilenmez.
- Ücretsiz deneme sunulduysa, abonelik satın aldığınızda kullanılmayan kısmı geçersiz olur.
Satın almalar bizim tarafımızdan değil Apple tarafından işlenir. İadeler Apple'ın kendi koşullarına göre yürütülür; bizim iade yapma yetkimiz yoktur. Talepler reportaproblem.apple.com üzerinden iletilebilir.
6. Kabul edilebilir kullanım
Pinch'i yalnızca size ait olan veya işleme hakkınız bulunan dosyalarla ve bulunduğunuz yerde hukuka uygun biçimde kullanmayı kabul edersiniz. Uygulamayı tersine mühendislikle çözmemeyi, kaynak koda dönüştürmemeyi, ücretsiz katman sınırlarını aşmaya çalışmamayı ve hiç kimsenin haklarını ihlal etmek için kullanmamayı kabul edersiniz.
7. Erişilebilirlik ve değişiklikler
Uygulamayı veya özelliklerini güncelleyebilir, değiştirebilir ya da sonlandırabiliriz. Bir değişiklik ücretli aboneliğin sunduklarını esaslı biçimde azaltıyorsa, bu değişiklik ödemesini yaptığınız dönem içinde değil, bir sonraki yenilemenizden itibaren uygulanır.
Bu koşulları değiştirebiliriz. Sayfanın başındaki tarih en son ne zaman değiştiklerini gösterir; esaslı değişiklikler uygulama içinde bildirilir.
8. Garanti verilmemesi
Pinch “olduğu gibi” sunulur. Hukukun izin verdiği azami ölçüde; kesintisiz veya hatasız çalışacağına, herhangi bir dosyanın başarıyla ya da belirli bir boyuta sıkıştırılacağına dair garanti vermiyoruz. Buradaki hiçbir hüküm, ülkenizdeki tüketici mevzuatının bertaraf edilemeyen haklarını ortadan kaldırmaz.
9. Sorumluluğun sınırlandırılması
Hukukun izin verdiği azami ölçüde; dolaylı veya sonuç niteliğindeki zararlardan ya da veri kaybından sorumlu değiliz. Uygulama orijinallerinizi değiştirmez veya silmez; önem verdiğiniz her şeyin kendi kopyalarını saklamak sizin sorumluluğunuzdadır. Sorumluluğun bertaraf edilemediği hallerde, sorumluluğumuz talepten önceki on iki ay içinde uygulama için bize ödediğiniz tutarla sınırlıdır.
10. Sona erme
Bu koşullar uygulamayı kullandığınız sürece geçerlidir. Pinch'i cihazınızdan silerek istediğiniz zaman sonlandırabilirsiniz. 6. bölümü ihlal etmeniz halinde biz de sonlandırabiliriz.
11. Uygulanacak hukuk
Bu koşullar, yaşadığınız yerde geçerli emredici tüketici korumaları saklı kalmak kaydıyla Türkiye Cumhuriyeti hukukuna tabidir.
